In the mist of giving in to the pressures of growing up in a world of uncertainty, Romero looks to his mentor, Little, for guidance. In the conversation Romero talks being misunderstood causing him to breaking down and running out of patients. This was caused by the pressures of growing up in a city like Chicago where he sees so much poverty and constant injustice striking the heart of our urban communities. This is still hope. If given the opportunity to make an impact, Romero would choose the power of music to create a sound that will touch the masses and help the village.
Little, his mentor, is always there for moral support helping Romero to see the light at the end of the tunnel. If we all do our part and build a bridge (connection with the young people) to on another, one day we will all prosper.
