Description
A few years ago, I lost my first and probably best (ever, she was amazing) dog, Shelby. She’s an Alaskan Malamute who lived to 13. In this, I’ve depicted her as an angel, using a mix of blue, pink and gold to emphasise the peace and love she brought and should still have. In the corners, I’ve got 4 memories/traits she had, each a different opacity by how recent it was, like her running through the grass in the bottom right is 20%, howling is 30%, patting/aging 40%, and finally her grave 50%. On top of this, the image is glitchy, blurry even, as to represent the time I’ve spent without her, my memory of her fading, as her solid form in this is. This emphasises/explains my choice of title. I felt like I needed to pay her tribute in some way, and I’ve recently gotten decent at digital art, so here she is :)
Enjoy 🐶
Note: I know she’s anthro in this. There’s no reason for it. It just looked better imo to have her taller and more frontwards.
