Self Expression

This photograph is part of a larger project that I worked on, which was focused on empowering people with disabilities. Ash, pictured here, is a classmate who uses a prosthetic leg. We interviewed her and asked what could improve her experience. She shared that she often feels a lack of personal expression. In response, we designed and 3D-printed a customizable prosthetic leg cover for her—shown in the photograph—to help reflect her personality and style.
