Esta fotografía para mi representa a las abuelas y madres de plaza de mayo es una historia propia de argentina ya que implico y sigue implicando una lucha enorme por encontrar a aquellas personas desaparecidas en 1977 generado por un golpe de estado, estas son personas con una historia muy fuerte que cada uno de los argentinos sabe y que a cada uno le marcó de formas totalmente diferente pero que de igual forma comparten el mismo sentimiento por lo sucedido aquel 30 de abril de 1977, hasta el dia de hoy hay muchas madres y abuelas de plaza de mayo que siguen buscando a sus familiares lo bueno es que ya no lo hacen solas como en aquellos tiempos, ahora hay organizaciones y gente de la sociedad que aporta aunque sea un granito de arena para ayudarles.

This photograph, to me, represents the Mothers and Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo. It is a story unique to Argentina, as it involved—and still involves—a tremendous struggle to find those who disappeared in 1977 as a result of a coup d’état. These are people with a deeply powerful history that every Argentine knows, and that has marked each of us in completely different ways, yet we all share the same feeling about what happened on April 30, 1977. To this day, many Mothers and Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo continue searching for their loved ones. The good thing is that they no longer do it alone as they did back then—now there are organizations and members of society who contribute, even if just a small amount, to help them.
