Eyes of a Child

Description

Eyes of a Child features a hand-painted 3D printed snail sculpture as well as a mixed media animation. As a child, I would always take my time on a rainy day to save slugs and snails that were on the sidewalk. Even to this day I always try to help any living creature or insect that I can. Overall, this piece is a representation of how I saw the world as a child. It uses an augmented reality app created by my friends and I, called ARteverse (available on the appstore for free). We wanted to create an accessible augmented reality app so that other young artists would have the opportunity to learn and experiment with AR the same way we did.
