Description

Unlock Your Next Job is an immersive video game designed to introduce young people to the world of work in a fun, interactive, and relatable way.

The project was created with a specific moment in mind: turning 18, when many young people begin looking for their first job or taking their first steps toward university and the professional world. The goal is to provide them with practical tools to face these challenges with greater confidence and help them prepare for this important first step.

Through four game levels, participants explore different situations related to job searching and the recruitment process and must make decisions connected to employability. Each choice adds or subtracts points and has consequences within the experience. At the end, players may get the job, remain under consideration by the company, or not be selected for the position. They can then review their decisions and understand how these choices influenced the outcome.

The project was a collective learning and creation experience. More than 20 young people worked as a team to develop the video game from scratch: they designed the experience, created and modeled characters, objects, and 3D environments, programmed the game mechanics, and built each level using digital tools and Unity.
