Snow in Catamarca

Description

The illustration I made is based on a memory that always comes to mind when I think of ¨winter break.¨ It was when my family and I were in Catamarca and rented a small, yellow house in the mountains. One day, we woke up and my dad told my sister and I to look out the window, since the mountains were covered in snow.
I chose a colder color palette for the outdoors to try to demostrate the icier environment, while I chose a warmer one for the interior because there, it was milder. I did not use a special technique, I just drew in the way I´m used to: with layers set to ¨add¨ or ¨screen¨ for the highlights and to ¨multiply¨ or ¨overlay¨ to create the shadows.
The two people who appear are my sister (on the left) and Kat (on the right), the latter being an original character of mine that represents myself. That´s all, thank you for reading and letting me be part of this beautiful space. :)
