-- This is the tallest building of the downtown. If you stand near to it, it invites you to look up and see the clouds, as a little window to the sky

I made an illustration in digital format with the graphic design program Autodesk Sketchbook because the digital illustration theme is passionate. However, in view that I am not a professional, I decided to use a less sophisticated program instead of a professional one. For Reach media Fest, I decided to encompass the topic of interpersonal violence because the increment of cases of this problematic has become more evident during the pass of the years, especially during these times of lockdown; but is something that few people have the courage to talk about. According to the “Radio Nacional de Colombia”, there have been 3.798 lawsuits for dating violence, 1.495 lawsuits for domestic violence (actions that make part of interpersonal violence) and 1.992 acts of interpersonal violence. Besides, “the majority of the attacks that have occurred during the 2020 have taken place inside their homes.” (RTVC, 2020)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This video it's about trash pollution in the cities and parks. I felt motivated to made this video in an activity about flashbacks and flash forward, in that class we made a video of social problems, using the techniques mentioned before, my result of that class was similar to this and the teacher said that would be a great idea remake that video with better production to post it in Reach Media Fest.

This song and video was made to raise awareness to racial injustice and encourage people to take tangible action against police brutality. I wrote and produced the song, as well as performing all of the vocals. The video was directed, filmed, and edited by Martaize Smith who is another member of the Hope Community Best Buy Teen Tech Center.
