it has become clearer and clearer that people have accepted that rape is a part of a harsh life that somehow cannot be prevented from happening. however eyes throught 2019 have been opened and ears pulled out on this type of crisis.through this young people have been educated about the dangers of using offensive and cursing language in their dily lives. through such use of a language they have been informed of how it impacts one's mindset and their ability to differentiate between right and wrong. through these initiative we discovered that it is possible to erradicate the problem within our communities and young people are increasingly encouraged to respect their female and male figures as well as to avoid listen to music that suggest that women are nothing more than toys for men. hence I end this by saying #STOPOBJECTIFYINGWOMEN END THE WAY IN WHICH MORDERN SOCIETIES SEE OUR BELOVED MOTHERS, DAUGHTERS, SISTERS AND EQUALLY IMPORTANT MEMBERS OF OUR SOCIETIES.

To view video at its highest quality please use the link below.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7Zr4q-qRXE&feature=youtu.be A music visual of the song "Trap or Grow" that me and a few other members of our clubhouse worked on. It was a partnership between the Tech Center and another organization me and my friends work for called Appetite for Change, where our mission is to use food as a tool for health, wealth, and social change. We decided to make this video for our end of the year project, using the song and video to encourage young people to grow their own food and make healthy lifestyle choices. The chorus poses the question "is you gon trap, or you gon grow?". The true meaning of this phrase is.... Are you going to TRAP? - Get trapped in the environment that surrounds you, or are you going to GROW - Grow your own food, your body, your skills, your career, your life. The video displays options and connotations of both "Trapping" and "Growing". The song was written, recorded, and produced by me and the other youth featured on the track Aaliyah (Me) - Chorus and First Verse Arieana - 2nd Verse Armand - 3rd Verse Princess Ann - 4th Verse We thought of the concept, locations, and wardrobe ourselves. After that, we reached out to Tez (New School Media) who is another member of the Tech Center @ Hope Community. He filmed, directed, and edited the video. Hope you like it!

GAME LINK: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/362831519/ The idea of the game is to learn the capitals of the world. When you start the game a map with four options will appear, you must choose the correct capital by typing the option number. Every time you make a mistake, you will add a fault. You will win the game if you get 0 failures and all the points that are 194. I hope you have fun and learn playing, as I do this beautiful project.

Hello, my name is Juan David Bedoya Cabrera and I am 14 years old. I created this video game to make people aware of not throwing garbage in the streets and knowing what trash can corresponds to each one of them, it took me 4 months to create this video game. It is important to know where the garbage goes, because if we combine the organic garbage it will contaminate the other garbage and it cannot be reused. The controls work like this: Holding down the space you grab the trash, you can only have one type of garbage in your hand, if you pick up the napkins you can only collect the other napkins and you can only throw them away if you have the five napkins, by pressing the space button on the corresponding container. Also with plastic, you need 5 bottles to be able to throw them away. It was difficult to create it, at first I made it very basic, it was just grabbing the garbage and the character was trapped with everything. Then I fixed the bugs by separating the parts of the character and creating some variables.

When you make a choice, you have to give up one thing (an opportunity) to get another thing that you want or need more. For that reason, when we take decisions, we must give priority to the fundamentals of living. Things that have no price today and make us better persons.

I was alone myself, one day, looking at nature, and I looked at the clear sky Fascinated by the wonderful trees, marveled at the raging seas, and sung by the melodies of quiet birds, I witnessed the divine beauty and how to draw the most beautiful and beautiful scenery with precision and grandeur, this rose transmits its pleasant smell to perfume the existence, and these birds sing the most beautiful melodies to complete nature with its splendor, here and there are green leaves and yellow sand embracing the sky and preaching Would like to drop drops of water on the grassland

This song is written as a letter to the communities that I used to be a part of. I have been on a journey of self-discovery for many years, and as I’ve figured out who I am, unfortunately I have had to face environments that are close-minded and non-inclusive. I wrote this song during one of the lowest points of my life. I completed the demo in my basement on GarageBand and then brought it to the tech center to re-record it in the studio. I played all of the parts on piano and later added some bass and strings as additional production. I am so thankful that the tech center provided me with the opportunity to master my song and tell my story. I am sharing it in order to reach out to anyone who has ever felt hopeless like me and let them know that they are not alone. I want to encourage people to be themselves in the midst of difficult situations, and I want my music and its message to empower people to embrace who they really are and not be afraid to express themselves. I hope you enjoy the song. Thank you for listening.

Verbal harassment is the most unchecked form of harassment that anyone could go through. Most commonly known as catcalling, people are subjected to unnecessary remarks that comment about their outward appearance. A catcalled is defined to be a comment of sexual nature towards a person. However, a catcall may also be identified as unwanted gestures, advances, and whistling. Although women are most likely to face these unwanted comments, men may also go through these experiences as well.

Once a year in New York City the LGBTQ community celebrates the month of June as pride month and a parade is held for all supporters to share joy of being one big family together, Pride means to embrace who you are as a person and support those around you, although we are all very different as individuals we all hold very special traits that make us unique which we should have pride for.

Day by day the world is getting warmer because of the actions of the past generations and our generation needs to make a difference and clean up their mess so that we can live a sustainable life and make sure the coming generations are able to live comfortably. If more people my age were to show their ideas and make them come true we can make a big difference when it comes to global warming. Every little helps and all of the small projects add up overtime. I hope to inspire others with my project and show them that they can also make a difference. -Mohammad Serajpour

Our poem / spoken word piece is about the need to dream in today's world. Some of our circumstances are difficult. We spent an hour watching our world's news and we believe it will take a dream to be successful and make it to our next phase in life. We are dreamers, just like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

This is the Intro track of my first solo rap project as an artist called "Rookie Year". I recorded, mixed, and mastered all the songs on my own at the center. I also did the graphic design of the cover art. The project is just about me trying to break into the music scene as an artist, as well as just showcasing my skills as a performer and songwriter. This is something I'm really serious and passionate about. You can hear the rest of my album with the link below. It is streaming on all platforms. https://soundcloud.com/la_trello/albums

In my public service announcement video I decided to discuss the issues that I feel are being ignored surrounding the fashion and clothing industry. I have seen throughout my daily life people purchasing large amounts of clothing for an incredibly low price. Curious, I decided to research how these clothes can be sold for such a low price. While doing so I realized how severe the issue of clothing industries exploiting resources and humans was. By creating this video, I hope to bring light and representation to the people who are currently suffering from labor abuse and to the environment.

This is an audio perspective that I created to honor one of my dearest friends who passed away last year. She made such a huge difference in my life, and I continue to struggle every day that she is gone. This piece represents her importance to me, as I hope to help others move on from the deaths of their loved ones.

And it's a song about my appreciation to The Best Buy Teen Tech Center because if it wasn't for me finding out about it I wouldn't have started recording and taking music seriously and it's also a tribute to people we lost recently because we never forget our lost loved ones our "Legends" it was shot by Aaliyah Demry who is apart of the tech center I go to and I edited the video. It was a lot of hard work put into the song production and video production so I hope you enjoy.

Although indigenous peoples are synonymous with cultural wealth, respect and preservation of nature, they are among the most disadvantaged populations on the planet. The UN chose August 9 to commemorate the International Day of Indigenous Peoples. Although the official Argentine story denied and made indigenous peoples invisible, accompanied by the colonization process and the nineteenth-century military campaigns that caused much of the extermination of several peoples, they not gone yet. After centuries-old battles, they continue fighting for the valorization of their identity, their political autonomy, the recognition of their rights and the rights over their territories. The State keeps the registry of 34 villages registered in the National Registry of Indigenous Communities (Re.Na.CI): Atacama, Chané, Charrúa, Chorote, Chulupí, Comechingón, Diaguita, Guaraní, Guaycurú, Huarpe, Iogys, Kolla, Kolla Atacameño Lule, Lule Vilela, Mapuche, Mapuche Tehuelche, Mocoví, Mbya Guaraní, Ocloya Pila, Omagua, Quechua, Ranquel, Sanavirón, Selk'Nam (Ona), Tapiete, Tastil, Tehuelche, Tilián, Toba (Qom), Tonokoté, Vilela , Wichí.

It feels like a war zone on my side of town but God gave me a chance to get away. Now I am here at the Boys & Girls Club's Best Buy Teen Tech Center turning my entire life around. The skills that I have learned here have changed not only my life but my friends and family. My name is Ashraf and I am 12 years old. Our Foroige Saturday Club aged 10 to 12 yr olds organised a bake sale and Raised €510 to donate to Seal Rescue Ireland. They also adopted a Seal and went to visit them in Co. Wexford off the south coast of Ireland while they were being cared for after eating plastic in the ocean. We learned how to eliminate single use plastic in our groups and to make stools out of plastic bottles and made some for our youth room. We also won a Citizenship Award for making a difference in our community. We made this video on our cell phone to show what a great time we had visiting the injured and rescued Seals

This videogame was created in collaboration with a group of deaf children. We learned so much from them. They told us that deaf children don´t know most of the common kids tales, because no one tells them those tales, and they don´t understand Spanish very well because for them it´s a second languaje. The first one is sign languaje. 95% of deaf children have non-deaf parents, and those parents does not learn sign languaje, so they can hardly communicate. There is an organization that convert typical kids tales in video with sign languaje. This videogame is based on one of that videobooks. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/368436692/fullscreen/

Depression is a tale of the rigors of reaching adolescence, while feeling like the voice you've been given isn't being heard or has been taken for granted. This track is an ode to being vulnerable, while creating awareness to the numerous issues that take place in our youth's lives mentally and physically.

To view video at its highest quality please use the link below.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdjqPQS1H1w A Documentary I was asked to do by some people at Hope Community. We have a youth and community mural program that created a mural about a well known native activist who lived in the neighborhood. She has since passed away, but her Great Great Granddaughter happens to be a youth in the mural program. I tried my best to tell the story of both the creators of the mural and their process, and the story of the woman the mural was created for. It was a change up for me and a little more difficult because I am use to shooting Music Videos. This was a little more complex.

To view video at its highest quality please use the link below.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jbr26KZk_Z4 This is a music video of song I made called "Shadow". It's a song I made that describes how I deal with depression and anxiety. A shadow is a metaphor for the darkness or the dark place I sometimes feel trapped in. But within that darkness I hear a voice deep down that lets me know I can make it, I can be happy, and i dont have to feel trapped no more. I want this song and video to help encourage people who sometimes feel like this. So they do have hope, and they know that they can get out of the darkness. I thought of the video concept and the different locations i wanted it to be at. I also did all of the the dance choreography and got my friend Desire to play the role as "my shadow". I had my brother Martaize who is also a member at the Tech Center do the Music Video for me. He filmed, directed,a and edited it. So hopefully people who view this video can find the good that lives deep with in themselves. And I hope they enjoy watching :)

It was a shock to see one of my hero's as a kid be killed. I had just seen him in person two weeks prior at the premiere "Just Mercy". He inspired me to push myself at everything I do. In memory of Kobe Bryant I created a video of his memorial. Thanks for the memories and bringing joy to Los Angeles.

In the mist of giving in to the pressures of growing up in a world of uncertainty, Romero looks to his mentor, Little, for guidance. In the conversation Romero talks being misunderstood causing him to breaking down and running out of patients. This was caused by the pressures of growing up in a city like Chicago where he sees so much poverty and constant injustice striking the heart of our urban communities. This is still hope. If given the opportunity to make an impact, Romero would choose the power of music to create a sound that will touch the masses and help the village. Little, his mentor, is always there for moral support helping Romero to see the light at the end of the tunnel. If we all do our part and build a bridge (connection with the young people) to on another, one day we will all prosper.

This is a song I wrote and recorded myself called "Time to Fight". I wrote this based off the crimes and hardships that happen to the people in my community which is North Minneapolis. At the time I wrote this, a lot of my friends were sad and grieving about recent deaths that happened to young people in our community due to violence. Throughout the song, i mention different alternatives to violence and crime. And when i say "Time 2 Fight" i mean it is time to fight for the right thing as opposed to the same old thing that continues to damage my community. Things like education, jobs, and careers. We should be helping to heal each other, not killing each other. I wrote the song at my house to a beat my bro showed me that i was very inspired by. I recorded it at the tech center by myself but got a little help from J.T. and some other students. I also wanted to use this song to showcase my rap skills. A lot of times i sing, but i wanted to prove i could really rap, and rap fast. Thanks for listening, I hope you like it.

With this animation we wanted to recreate the video clip of the song "Another brick in the wall" in a 3d animation, sending a message to the educators with a rap made by several students Lyrics: When you start teaching You feel like you can't make mistakes The only thing you generate is discontent When your information starts disagreeing When your information starts disagreeing We don't want to be part of your dirty regiment From the bottom of my heart I beg for your attention I need you to listen to what i'm saying For us to find a solution To this problem that is for everyone. Despite the fact that not Don't you get crazy with my thoughts Or stop them going with Motivate kids to learn Make them see what they want to see Teach them to think. What they want to be could be accomplished Listen, maybe you could learn You say that we are the future but don't understand That we are selfish That we are bad But you are still with no empaty with the person by your side If they are only robots Searching for energy They'll find the sun And sure it'll burn them That's why they can't keep up all day long The teacher is stealing your happiness Operating rooms, students dying Pyromanes, that are on pediatrics. For lack of attention no surgery took place But there was my song that their minds would heal Is it possible that you let us express ourselves? All of the words that we have to say Doesn't matter how many times you try to make me shut up I'll keep questioning your thoughts Why are there so many things that we weren't taught? Now it doesn't matter to be a genious, only matters the diploma Teaching a robot to earn prices They teach us about life That is only to obey. Locked in a room with 10 minutes to eat Trapped in a prision Called education Don't defend your opinion or you'll have a penalty It's about imagining, and creating. Obtaining something in which you can get better It's insufficient what you think assufficient We are impatient We decided to learn for us to move on And what we got is our minds enslaved Which we want to change In other dimention this would already had finished We'd have union and passion As reward of all the things we created The education and respect is something mutual as a principle It isn't the same as a kid with no brothers or sisters Education should be like a flower that just flourished Education is something that flourishes to be part of the world

Joge's King Poetic is the most popular track from the larger project, Capability EP. The song uses Boombap style drums to catch the audience's attention by providing a familiar sound while lyrics take them into Joge's mind. The song covers topics such as cultural assimilation and oppression in the Americas that have been happening since the mid-1500s. However, Joge leaves some phrases intentionally unclear to allow his audience to think for themselves.

I collected seventy of my drawings from my three current sketchbooks and edited them together in a compilation. I took the pictures of the illustrations on my phone and put them together with music on an application called Adobe Premiere Rush. It took me a while to get the pictures to change as the music did, but I figured the final product would reflect all my hard work. Thank you for watching!

I did this work on the "All or Nothing" project, I wanted to showcase the responsibility we have for maintaining the world. We can make a decision whether to pollute and destroy and make the world a terrible place to live or maintain it and create a healthier and more comfortable environment.
